Morgan has been a planner for 12 years with experience in the public sector, having worked for four municipalities in both Texas and Colorado, as well as background working in the private sector for a master-planned community developer in Colorado. 
 
She is currently a Planning Supervisor for the City of Colorado Springs, focused primarily on policy and public education. She is the project manager for the RetoolCOS project, a 3-year effort of rewriting the City of Colorado Springs’ zoning and subdivision code – the first comprehensive update in several decades. In 2021, she established the first Neighborhood University for the City in collaboration with CONO (Council of Neighborhood Organizations).   

Morgan received a Bachelor’s of Landscape Architecture and Master’s in Land Development from Texas A&M University. She currently serves as the APA CO Chair of the Youth in Planning Committee, is an active member of the APA CO Professional Development Committee, and is a member of the APA National Exam Committee.
